• Pay rate range - $39.00 - $46.00 per hour, dependant on skills & experience
• Ful ltime role Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm, Saturdays as per roster requirements

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for delivering vehicle inspection services, including WoF/CoFA/CoFB, Light or Heavy Entry and PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspections), and ensuring compliance with Waka Kotahi standards. Maintaincustomer service standards and support business objectives.

Your Key Responsbilities

• Carry out WoF, CoFA, CoFB, and Entry Certification vehicle inspection according to Waka Kotahi /
• VINZ requirements and standards. Ensuring that a Compliant IO & Inspector audit is achieved at all
• times.
• Ensure compliance with Waka Kotahi contractual requirements.
• Provide quality and timely vehicle inspection services, including PPIs.
• Maintain company assets, ensuring they are cared for and reporting any issues to management.
• Keep inspection facilities clean and clear.
• Ensure effective and safe operation of inspection pits and equipment.
• Support the maintenance of internal and Waka Kotahi audit score results.
• Proactively take part in meetings and share ideas.
• Assist in supporting key account relationships and promote the company's image.

To be considered for this role, you must either:

• Hold a current NZTA Warrant of Fitness (WOF), Certificate of Fitness Authority (COFA), or Certificate of Fitness for Heavy Vehicle (COFB), or
• Meet the NZTA eligibility criteria to obtain one, which you can find here NZ Transport Agency

You'll Need:

• Trade or allied trade qualification (i.e. Automotive Technician, Diesel Mechanic or other relevant trade) or 4+ years repair and maintenance experience.
• WoF and CoFA and/or CoFB and/or Light/Heavy Entry Waka Kotahi (NZTA) certification or ability to obtain.
• 3-5+ years automotive trade experience.
• Current, clean NZ drivers licence for relevant class of vehicle.
• Great eye for detail & reliable as they come
• Solid customer service skills & good team spirit​
